As a Publication Officer, you need not have terribly good English, though a certain flair would be an advantage. The use of computer does not stop here. It will be extremely useful if you are well-versed in PageMaker, Publisher, Photoshop and other software that help with layout for magazines. This is because Sports Club publishes a bi-monthly magazine entitled "Here!"

"Here!" is the newly-revamped publication of the Sports Club, replacing the previous 4 annual publications produced annually (namely Rush, Sport-ed 1, Sport-ed 2 and Summation). You will be the editor of this new publication, having to oversee the canvassing of sponsors for the magazines and also having to look for reliable yet inexpensive printers. Licenses are also required to publish certain publications and it is the Publication Officer's job to ensure these are obtained. You will, though, have the help of your sub-committee for these projects, thus helping to lighten your workload.
